Adie Poe, PhD is a junior faculty member at the Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, MO. As a neuroscientist, she has been studying the addictive and pain-relieving properties of opioids and cannabinoids for the last 13 years. The National Institute on Drug abuse has consistently funded her cutting-edge work.
